Program Details

This is a 3 day inter-school competition going to be held on the 18th, 19th and 20th of Magh(Feb 1-3, 2023). Prior to the competition the selected teams will have to go through a 3 day workshop on 15th, 16th and 17th of Magh.

This is a competition for school students from grade 5 to grade 9. Only 4 students will be allowed to participate from a school. There will be one teacher from each school as a mentor. Among the 4 students one has to be a girl student. If the school is not a co-ed school then at least the mentor must be a female teacher. To register for the event please visit here.

The teams will be given a name. They will have their own mission patch. And each team will be provided with a working station where they will build their projects.

The participants on the teams will be given a designation as follows:

  1. Mission Director - He/She will be the one overlooking the entire mission. He/She will be accountable for the actions of the team.
  2. Design Engineer - He/She will be responsible for the Design of the Lunar Habitat, Lunar Lander, etc. He/She has to first verify his/her designs with the Council of the Wise.
  3. Budget Manager - He/She will be the one that fill the budget sheet, asks for loans if need be, from the Treasury, and shop for items from the Foundry.
  4. Project Supervisor - He/She will be an all rounder that will help each one of the team with their tasks. Besides that the supervisor will be the one that manages the time, and will see to it that everything is completed within the given time frame.

The Election Commission will hold an election where any visitor visiting the event can vote for their favourite participants. One person will be allowed to vote just once. The voting result will be counted as 40% of the total points. The judging panel will give the 60% of the points.
